Car and van repairs in Beeston
Tell us what the car is doing and you’ll be told what needs looking at. One mechanic, one unit on Ellis Grove, and reviews on Google going back to 2017 from drivers judging the same pair of hands on how the work aged.
Ring before you set off. It is one mechanic in one unit, so the car needs booking in.

You are talking to the mechanic who does the work
Julian answers the phone, does the work, and writes back to the reviews under his own name. There is nobody in between to lose the message.
Julian took care of my MOT and was very kind, courteous, trustworthy and clearly a highly experienced mechanic.
Reviews going back to 2017, from people still coming back
One customer judged a suspension repair two years after it was done, and two MOTs later.
I had my suspension repair here 2 years ago, and it was very well done and passed service twice.
You get asked what the car has already had done
Before the work rather than after, so you are not paying a second time for something that was done last year.
I was asked about what had been done on the last service so that no pointless bits were re-done
What we do
Start from whatever your car is actually doing. If none of these is it, ring and describe the noise.
Servicing
It is due a service and you do not know what that should cover
MOT work
It has failed, or it is due and you are dreading the list
Diagnostics
The light is on, or it is running rough and nobody can say why
Timing belts
It is due a cambelt, or you have been quoted for a wet belt
Suspension, brakes and tyres
It knocks over speed bumps, wanders, or grumbles when you brake
We also handle cars and vans, petrol and diesel, shock absorbers, tyres, engine management, crypton tuning. Ring and ask.
A job, start to finish
This is a wet timing belt on a Ford Focus EcoBoost, done over a weekend and photographed as it went. The wet belt runs inside the engine in the oil, so when it starts to break up the bits end up in the sump. That is why the sump comes off and the oil pickup gets cleaned, and it is the part of the job a cheaper quote leaves out.
