The things people ring up and ask
Answered the way they would be on the phone.
Do I need to ring first?
Yes. It is one unit on a side street with one mechanic in it, and the reviews are full of people saying to book early. Ring with the registration and what the car is doing.
Which number should I ring?
0115 921 2702 is the number on the Google listing. There is an older number painted on the board outside and printed in several directories, 0115 922 5771. Both are on the contact page.
Do you work on vans as well as cars?
The board outside says all types of repairs to all types of cars and vans, petrol and diesel. Ring with the registration if yours is a big one, because the unit is not enormous.
Where exactly is Ellis Grove?
It runs off Chilwell Road in Beeston, near the Dovecote Lane end. The unit is 2A, behind the fence with the white signboard on it, and the number is painted on the wall by the door.
Can I get an MOT here?
The board says all types of MOT work, and customers describe having an MOT and a service done in the same visit. Ring and ask how it works for your vehicle.
Can you tell me what it will cost?
Ring with the registration and describe what it is doing. Prices depend on the car and on what is actually wrong with it, so you get a number for your car rather than a number off a board.
Still not sure?
Ring and describe the car. A question on the phone costs nothing and saves you guessing from a website.
